To celebrate our first wedding anniversary my wife and I bought along our sisters to experience one of the best fine dining in Penang at The View restaurant at Equatorial Hotel Penang. What can I say about the food... simply delicious! The ambiance is really quiet and comfortable, really suitable for a romantic night out. We had the semi-buffet where you order one main dish while the appetizers and desserts are bufffet style. One thing to remember is to save space for the main dishes as you can get carried away by the very fresh and tasty appetizers. I've tasted one of the freshest oysters and smoke salmon here compared to any other eateries that I've ever been.
Here are some of the mouth watering delicacies!

Family Portraits: Hoo Kooi and Co.

Hoo Kooi invited my wife and I over to his new condo at Regency Heights, Sungai Ara, for tea on a lovely Saturday afternoon. We took the opportunity to grab a few family portraits. His daughter just like any other kid is sooo full of energy, she gave me a full workout trying to grab shots of her!
Here are some of my favorites. Enjoy!

Portraits: Bam Bam

Meet Bam Bam, our resident golden retriever. Just like people dogs have their own expressions to portray their feelings.

Random Portraits

These impromptu portraits and "action" shots were taken during a photo-walk around in May with fellow photographers :) It's really great fun spending a morning walking around the Penang Heritage trail to document the buildings that are so full of history. More post on the Heritage trail soon.

PWMF'08 Photo Published in CLICK! Mag
This is old news but one of my photos from the Penang World Music Festival 2008 got published in the June edition of CLICK! magazine. It's really exciting to see your own work published in a circular that's read by many people who have interest in photography. Having an image publish just makes me wanna produce more and better photos so that I may share it. I hope this is just the first of many photos to be published :)
Update P/S: I've finally found the correct way to have larger images posted on blogger :)
