Danny Chew Photography is proud to be associated with the folks at Chiffon and Lace. Chiffon and Lace is an online boutique specializing designer wedding and bridal gowns. (FULL DISCLOSURE: My wife is a partner at Chiffon and Lace)
It was a tiring but very fulfilling month of weekends to produce these dramatic images for Chiffon and Lace. It was a wonderful opportunity for me to push my creative as well as technical limits and further grow as a photographer. These images were taken in and around Penang. It just goes to show how rich Penang is.
Here's a couple more of my favourites. Head on over to Chiffon and Lace for more stunning images!

Wow, I love the portrait shots! Very nice!
Hi Mark,
Thanks! :)
remarkable use of natural lighting and mixture of flash, well done, my friend !! well done !!
Thanks Clement! We learned from the best ;)
Wow, that was amazing. Absolutely loved the photos, hmm, lemme guess alright and tell me if I'm correct or wrong :D,
1st Photo: Taken in a carpark (still wonder how did you get the shot without having cars interrupting) with the car as the light source, not sure how u get the smokey effect though, oh and flash also, looks like positioned upper right, off shoe?
2nd Photo: Dunno whre, but the lighting seem to come from above, did you use off shoe?
3rd Photo: looks like Fort Cornwallis, but I didn't know there were horses there O.O
Hmm, shall link you when I update my blog next time.
Omar,
You've got many of them right.
1st: We found a secluded carpark that not many ppl use. We went to the upper floors to shoot. The smoky effect is actually flare from the car light. Yes, we used off camera flashed, shot through umbrellas for lighting.
2nd: Shot at a beach just before dusk.
3rd: Yep, Fort Cornwallis. We were lucky that they let the horses out to graze. I quickly moved the model over and took a couple shots. One of my favs :)
